Wood Guitar

I am going to make a wood guitar for all the world to hear

It will play of love and life and everything I dear

And when I make this wood guitar it will sound so sweet

It will say what I could not to whom I could not speak

And maybe then this wood guitar will make a difference good

They hear it play for all that right and think it in the wood.

But I know this wood guitar is much more than it seem

A part of me is in it then with song in which I dream

And it will play, this wood guitar, for everything I said

Knowing not what it has done for that writ and is read

Then all will know this wood guitar, with song writ for the free

Then they may know of what we sing come as it has to me.

Still I am in this wood guitar with song that need be sung

Living there contentedly we come out when they strum

And they who strum this wood guitar do hear what it may give

This sweet new sound this bless-ed song sung to those who live

And when this wood guitar doth play they then will want to sing

For all I know of love and life I live I am the string.

Then me and this wood guitar have song that we do play

For God is love we live the light and coming of the day.

Amen:
