Creation, Gravity and the Forth Day
Revelation of the seven days of Creation, introduced in Gen 1:31
thru Gen 2:3, is the core purpose for the Word of God, as related in the Holy Bible
now at hand. If one reads the text with a modernist-grammatical understanding,
they may see how the prophets of old reveal those days in a way that is
relevant to the 21st Century.
The entire Bible relates a detailed history the first six days
with prophetic look at all seven. The story begins in Gen 2:4, at the beginning
of the first day and ends in Rev 22:21, at the time for the beginning of the
seventh day.
Regarding the fourth day, today, the steps taken to make the
Universe come into play are given in Gen 1:14 through Gen 1:18. The following
hypothesis gives a modern way to look at those steps that is consistent with a
scientific awareness of the earth having a message from God about the gospel of
Christ.
God begins the fourth day of the Creation making our Universe and then bringing
it into play, Gen 1:14-19. But gravity does not fit well with the other
fundamental forces of nature, and there is reason to believe that special
considerations were given it when God brought forth the reality in which we
live.
For example, in Genesis 1:14 Scripture relates that God designed this dimension
with lights defining two conditions, and four functions. “And God said, ‘let
there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the [1] day from the
[2] night; and let them be for {1} signs, and for {2} seasons, and for {3}
days, and {4} years’" The ultimate goal here is defined in Genesis 1:15;
“to let them be lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the
earth”. Notice at this stage of the game, the stars are not mentioned and it is
the stars that can be understood to represent gravity, an important part of
this reality, but not in a way that would need mentioning in God’s Word.
However, all is flat with the unmitigated
force of gravity. This characteristic of the force of gravity may relate to the
darkness upon the face of the deep, as related in Gen 1:2). In order to give
light upon the earth, the properties of this function must be included, but at
a far lesser capacity. Therefore when God made the two lights, each with a
function to perform and he also made the stars. The “stars” could be the
designation for gravity, which at this stage can be easily controlled because
of the hypothetical nature of this step in the process. So “God made two great
lights, [1] the greater light to rule the day, and [2] the lesser light to rule
the night: and he made [3] the stars also”.
In Genesis 1:17, he sets them into the firmament of the heaven (possible the
result of “the Big Bang”) “to give light upon the earth”. The stars, gravity is
now in accordance with the lights, from the previous step and do not need
further mention in this step. Therefore the end product can now be completed
having two lights and four fundamental forces, as specified in Gen 1:14, the
process is finished in Gen 1:17-18, “And God set them into the firmament of the
heaven to give light upon the earth, and (the greater light [1]) to rule {1}
over the day and {2} over the night, and (the lesser light [2]) to divide {3}
the light from {4} the darkness: and God saw that it was good.” Therefore
gravity is prevalent in the world today according to the original conception;
and there are lights in the firmament of the heaven and they give light upon
the earth.
